An Institutional Subscription allows Internet access to the full content of The Biological Bulletin Online for all Authorized Users of the Institution, as defined by the Guidelines for Internet Access to Journals
Individuals who are not MBL Corporation members may subscribe at the
Individual (Non-Member) level, at the
Institutional level, or may want to consider
applying for membership in the MBL Corporation.
Ordering Procedure

Subscribing to The Biological Bulletin Online is a two-step process:
First,
you must follow your usual "new serial" ordering
procedures to subscribe to The Biological Bulletin,
ISSN 0006-3185.
Payment should be made to
your subscription agent or directly to the MBL.
Second,
once the MBL has received payment from you or your vendor, you will
receive a letter with instructions for obtaining access to the online edition; the letter will direct you to a subscription activation form. You
will be asked to provide the following information necessary to activate
your subscription to The Biological Bulletin Online:
- Institution's IP Address(es)
[CRITICAL INFORMATION ABOUT IP ADDRESSES -- READ THIS]
- Contact name, title, phone, fax, and email
- Customer number (included with the letter, or contact the lreuter{at}mbl.edu)
Your institution will not have
access to the full Biological Bulletin Online until you complete this second step.

If you are having
difficulties in accessing the material, please read the following instructions:
- If you are subscribing to The Biological Bulletin directly through MBL (not
using a vendor), please give us a call at 508-289-7402, fax us at 508-289-7922, or contact the lreuter{at}mbl.edu and we will try
to assist you. Make sure that the customer number we provided you is
available.
- If you are subscribing to The Biological Bulletin through a vendor and print issues
are being shipped directly to your address, please give us a call at 508-289-7402, fax us at 508-289-7922, or contact the lreuter{at}mbl.edu and we will try to assist you. Make sure that the
customer number we provided you is available.
- If you are subscribing to The Biological Bulletin through a vendor and print issues are being
sent to them at their collection place, please call your vendor and ask them to
provide us with documentation that identifies you as a subscriber. Without
documentation, you will not be identified as a paid subscriber and we will not be
able to help you from our office.
